Q: What inspired you to take this award-winning photo? Is there a story behind the piece you’d like to share?

Hoang: When I came to the Auburn Garden, NSW, Australia. I saw the peach blossoms blooming brightly in the morning sunlight and the busy brown bees sucking nectar, I felt the moment was so beautiful and peaceful that I took this photo.

Q: Were there any challenges during the process of creating this series or image? How did you navigate them?

Hoang: There was also a bit that when taking the photo, the wind blew, the bees could not stand still, so I had to be patient, ready and take many photos continuously to get a good photo.

Q: How do you approach the balance between technical skill and emotional/artistic expression in your photography?

Hoang: For me, the balance of technical skills and emotional expression is that in addition to the clarity of the subject, the composition is a very important part that highlights the subject and the moment when the subjects interact with each other.

Q: What message or feeling do you hope your photography conveys to viewers?

Hoang: I hope that everyone will feel the beauty of the natural world around us and through that, we should preserve, protect and develop it.

Q: In your view, what role does photography play in today’s world?

Hoang: For me, photography plays an important role in today's world. It not only captures moments of time and space, but it also sends messages of life to everyone, images of the natural world, of society, and through that, we will know what we need to do to make the world better.
