Gooten Innolife Corporation Wins Product Design Award for Innovative LIFEMATE KF272 Diaper Bag

At this season’s design awards, Gooten Innolife Corporation captured the spotlight by winning the Platinum Prize in the 2025 Golden Arc Design Award for its groundbreaking creation, the LIFEMATE KF272 Sterilizing & Drying Diaper Bag. This product design award recognizes a design that transforms the traditional diaper bag into an elegant solution integrating sterilization, drying, and eco-minded innovation.

Winning the Product Design Award - From Everyday Parenting to Everyday Innovation

Founded by YI-WEI LIAO and WEI-SHENG CHEN, LIFEMATE grew from a simple but profound mission: to make parenting lighter, warmer, and more joyful.

“Parenting is filled with love and anticipation, but also with constant demands and time pressure,” the founders explain. “We wanted to create a dependable teammate for families—a product that offers both thoughtful design and emotional comfort.”

The name LIFEMATE, combining LIFE and MATE, reflects this vision of a supportive companion that grows with children and parents through every stage.

Inspiration Born from Real-Life Challenges

The award-winning concept originated in a deeply personal moment.

“After becoming a father, I realized that going out with kids often feels like moving house—bottles, utensils, diapers, and bags piling up endlessly,” recalls YI-WEI LIAO.“ One night, when my child was hospitalized, I could only rinse bottles with hot water, with no way to properly dry or sterilize them. That helplessness inspired me to bring my professional expertise home.”

From this experience came the vision of a portable, multifunctional parenting bag that could sterilize and dry baby bottles as easily as carrying an everyday backpack.

A Minimalist Exterior with Powerful Technology

At first glance, the LIFEMATE KF272 Sterilizing & Drying Diaper Bag is a stylish, gender-neutral urban backpack. Hidden inside is a compact thermal circulation and filtration system. With one button, parents can activate a 360-degree hot-air circulation that sterilizes and dries baby bottles, pacifiers, and breast pump parts—achieving a bacteria elimination rate of over 99%.

When sterilization is no longer needed, the core module can be removed, transforming the product into a durable, everyday bag and extending its lifecycle while reducing waste.

Designed for Sustainability and Safety

Environmental responsibility is at the heart of the KF272:

  • 100% recycled PET-bottle fabric with a fluorine-free water-repellent coating

  • An internal chamber sized for two standard bottles to encourage safe reuse and reduce single-use plastic

  • Flexible carrying options—backpack, hand-carry, or stroller attachment—to meet diverse caregiving scenarios

“Sustainability is not just a feature—it is our responsibility to the next generation,” says WEI-SHENG CHEN.

Supporting the Future of Shared Parenting

As dual-income households become the norm, parenting increasingly depends on collaboration and shared responsibility. The KF272 is not merely a combination of a diaper bag, dryer, and sterilizer—it is a design response to the evolving rhythms of modern caregiving, helping parents move from simply coping to feeling truly supported.

“It’s more than a product,” the founders emphasize.“It’s a way to reorganize daily parenting so care feels shared, natural, and empowered.”

By winning the Platinum Prize in Electronics & Smart Devices, GOOTEN INNOLIFE CORPORATION demonstrates how innovation, technology, and empathy can transform everyday parenting.

The LIFEMATE KF272 Sterilizing & Drying Diaper Bag stands as proof that great design is not just functional—it is a thoughtful answer to the needs of families and the planet.
